Wildcard offers an alternative means of entering into Prize Draws. The process for using this alternative means of entry is described in detail below:

Just like the paid method of entering into a Prize Draw, this alternative method requires you to accept all our terms and conditions, including our Terms of Use, Competition Rules and Privacy Notice , and Play Rules for the applicable Prize Draw, which can be found in the draw description in the App.

Instructions:
On a blank sheet of paper, or postcard, write or type your full legal name, address (no post office box addresses accepted), city, post code, telephone number (optional), email address and name of the live Prize Draw that you want to enter including the unique Draw ID (as shown in the Play Rules description).

For example, if Wildcard had a draw running called Super Pay-Day in Week 30, the entrant would write, ‘Wildcard - Super Pay-Day - ABC-123-XYZ’. If Wildcard were running a draw called Monthly-Madness in March 2024, the entrant would write, ‘Wildcard - Monthly-Madness - DEF-456-UVW’, etc.

This needs to be written down in very clear writing or typeface, otherwise the entry may be deemed invalid.

Address:

  1. Wildcard - [Insert draw name] - [Insert draw ID] (for example, Super Pay-Day - ABC-123-XYZ)
  2. Draw - January 2023)
  3. International House,
  4. 36-38 Cornhill,
  5. London,
  6. EC3V 3NG

A maximum of one entry can be made per postcard or envelope received. There is no limit to the number of entries that may be made this way.

For valid entries into all Wildcard Prize Draws (other than Subscriber-Only Draws), once a postal entry has been processed it will be entered into the next relevant draw until the Jackpot Prize is drawn.

For the avoidance of any doubt, if for example Wildcard had a Prize Draw for Super Pay-Day - Week 30, and the postcard stated that the entrant would like to enter this particular draw that is referenced with a unique Draw ID, and that entrant had written their details as described above, then just as with any one paid entry, this postcard would count for one entry into this applicable Prize Draw, but would not count for entry into any other future Draws.

Postal entries are treated in exactly the same way as paid entries for the purposes of determining a winner. However, there is a difference in the deadlines for entries. All of our draws (Subscriber-Only Draws) close at 23:59:59 pm (GMT or BST, as applicable) on the online entry close date specified in the Competition Rules. The corresponding cut-off for postal entries will be that they are received and processed before 5:00pm (GMT or BST, as applicable) on the last date of the respective postal entry period for the Prize Draw (see the applicable Play Rules in the app for dates). Postal entries have an equal chance of winning as any one paid entry. If a postal entry wins a prize there will be no further purchase or payment necessary to be notified of the win or to receive the prize. If the above steps are not followed as described then a postal entry will be invalid. You will not be notified if your entry is invalid.
